Cruises to Florence & Tuscany (Livorno)

Livorno Cruise

Visiting Florence, Pisa, and Tuscany via Livorno is a dream come true for cruise travelers exploring Italy. Livorno, a popular port city, offers easy access to some of Tuscany's most celebrated destinations, making it a favorite stop for Mediterranean cruises.

Florence, the heart of the Renaissance, is just 90 minutes from Livorno and boasts iconic landmarks like the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), Michelangelo’s David at the Accademia, and the treasures of the Uffizi Gallery’. Stroll across the famed Ponte Vecchio or savor the atmosphere in Piazza della Signoria for a truly unforgettable experience.

Closer to the coast, Pisa beckons with its world-famous Leaning Tower. Located in the Piazza dei Miracoli alongside the grand Cathedral and Baptistery, it’s a perfect stop for a photo op and a chance to climb the tower’s historic spiral staircase. Pisa’s lively squares and charming streets add to its appeal. For those seeking a more leisurely experience, the Tuscan countryside offers breathtaking vistas of rolling hills, vineyards, and medieval villages like San Gimignano or Volterra. A guided tour or wine tasting in the Chianti region is a delightful way to soak in the region’s charm and flavors.

Cruise travelers can also enjoy Livorno’s highlights, including its Venezia Nuova canals and vibrant food markets, before reboarding. Combining cultural wonders with picturesque landscapes, a stop in Livorno is an unforgettable highlight of any Mediterranean cruise.
