Are beverage packages available on all sailings, fleetwide?
Beverage packages are available to purchase on all sailings excluding ships sailing in South Africa and China.
In compliance with Saudi Arabian law, while a ship is docked at Saudi Arabian ports during a sailing alcohol will not be served on board. Alcohol will be available when the ship returns to international waters.
Are gratuities included in the beverage package cost?
Yes. All MSC Cruises prepaid and onboard beverage packages include gratuities.
If guests wish to dine together at the same table, whether traveling in separate staterooms as individuals or as part of a group, is it necessary for them to reserve the same beverage package?
Yes. In order for all guests to dine together they must all have purchased the same beverage package. This means that if one guest chooses a certain drinks package, all other guests wishing to dine with them must book the same type of beverage package. This includes minors, for whom the Minors Package must be booked.
Can beverage packages be used on MSC’s private island?
Yes. Beverage packages can be used at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. However, please note that the island’s beverage options may not include the full onboard beverage selection.
What is happening to the Easy and Easy Plus Packages?
These packages will no longer be sold as of December 18, 2024. For guests who purchased these packages prior to December 18, 2024, their purchase will be honored.
What happens if I booked the Easy or Easy Plus package prior to 12/18/24?
If you booked the Easy or Easy Plus Package prior to December 18, 2024 you will not be affected by the change. On board, you will receive the package you prepaid.
Will alcohol be served on cruises calling on Saudi Arabian ports?
In compliance with Saudi Arabian law, alcohol will not be served while the ship is docked at Saudi Arabian ports. Alcohol will be available when the ship is in international waters.
Which packages can be used in Specialty Restaurants?
Only the Premium Extra and Easy Plus packages are accepted at Specialty Restaurants. The Minors Package will also be accepted when the minor is accompanied by an adult who has purchased the Premium Extra or Easy Plus Package.
If an adult purchases a beverage package, are underage guests required to do the same thing as well?
Yes. The Minors Package must be purchased for all underage guests traveling with adults who purchase a beverage package.
Can I upgrade my beverage package?
Yes. This option is available to all our guests. In pre-cruise sales, the upgrades are available only for the guests with the package included in their cruise promotion at a discounted price. On board, all upgrade options are open for all guests at full price.
