MSC FUTURE CRUISE PROGRAM

The Future Cruise Program is an exclusive onboard service for guests currently sailing with MSC Cruises. It allows you to plan and book your next cruise while still on your current sailing.

It's easy! Visit the Future Cruise Office on board, and our dedicated Future Cruise Consultants  will assist you. They will provide all the information you need, guide you through the booking process, and ensure you receive all the exclusive benefits of the  Future Cruise Program.

When booking on board, you'll receive exclusive advantages, including a best price guarantee & flexibility, a low deposit requirement, up to €/£/$ 200 onboard credit per stateroom, and double MSC Voyagers Club points . These benefits are designed to enhance your MSC Cruises experience and provide extra value for your future travels.

You can reserve an Open Booking  while on board an MSC Cruise by paying a nonrefundable deposit of €/£/$ 100 per person. You then have one year from the date of creation to choose the ship and sail date for your future cruise.

Open Booking reservations can generally be combined with most local offers and MSC Voyagers Club discounts, with some exclusions such as certain promotions and discounted rates.

The Future Cruise Open Booking Program (also hereinafter referred to as “FCOP”) is available exclusively to guests while sailing with MSC Cruises. As we value our relationships with our travel partners, your Future Cruise booking will be attributed to the travel advisor  associated with your current cruise booking, or to the MSC Cruises Contact Center  if the current booking was made directly through MSC Cruises. The FCOP applies only to bookings of  3 nights or longer and requires the payment of an initial deposit to be paid on board according to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to new Future Cruise Open Bookings made on or after January 1, 2024. Unless otherwise specifically indicated or modified herein, the MSC Booking Terms and Conditions of your booking apply in full. In case of conflict between the general MSC Booking Terms and Conditions and this document, the specific provisions of the latter shall prevail: 

ONBOARD  CREDIT 

The Future Cruise Program offers up to €/£/$ 200 Onboard  Credit per stateroom. The amount you are eligible for will be determined by the stateroom category for that booking as well as the length of the cruise and ship’s currency, according to destination, and it will be applied to your future cruise you reserve while on board . Please note that all single occupancy guests paying less than double of the amount of the cruise fare will be eligible for half of the onboard  credit. 

Future Cruise  Booking Flexibility* 

For all bookings whose balance have not been paid yet, you will be allowed to move a cruise date within the term of 1 year from the departure date of the cruise package originally chosen, subject to the following conditions: 
• If  the fare of the new cruise package is higher than the original one, then the price difference shall be paid by the passenger; 
• If  the fare of the new cruise package is lower than the original one, the new fare shall apply. 
• The onboard  credit received as part of your Future Cruise Booking will be adjusted to reflect the stateroom category and length of the new cruise package. If the expected date of departure of the new cruise package falls within 30 days of departure, the onboard credit received as part of your Future Cruise Booking may not be granted. 
• In the event that the booking of the new cruise package requires a higher deposit requirement, guests will be required to pay the difference. 
• Offers, promotions or discounts applied to the original cruise package may not be applicable. 
* Please note that this flexibility program does not apply to “Bella” Experience. 


BEST PRICE GUARANTEE* 

The Best Price Guarantee benefit is available exclusively for bookings made through the Future Cruise Program and it gives you the advantage of having a better price applicable up to 90 days before your sail date. The “Best Price Guarantee” may be used only once per booking. In order for a price match option to be applied the following requirements must be met: 
• The price must be on publicly advertised fares by MSC Cruises available to the general public to the exclusion of group rates, charters or other travel advisor promotions not offered by MSC Cruises based on retail pricing only. 
• The lower fare must be bookable in the same market where the original booking was made. 
• Evidence of the price must be submitted to MSC Cruises and must be available for booking at the time of the request. 
• The price may be matched in the form of an upgrade or Onboard Credit.
• Pricing claims that cannot be independently verified by MSC Cruises shall not be accepted. 
* Please note that the Best Price Guarantee benefit does not apply to “Bella” Experience.

DEPOSIT & FURTHER PAYMENTS 

The balance of the full deposit must be paid 90 days before your sail date. Payments on your Future Cruise Booking beyond the deposit required on board shall be due in accordance with the MSC Cruises payment schedule applicable in your country of residence and/or the same country of the original booking. Double MSC Voyagers Club points 

All MSC Voyagers Club members who book a cruise on board will double their MSC Voyagers Club points on that cruise. According to the MSC Voyagers Club Terms and Conditions, points will be awarded at the end of the cruise they book on board and will only be earned on "experiences" purchased. The Company reserves the right to apply restrictions on certain promotions. Onboard and pre-cruise charges are excluded.

The Open Booking Program provides guests with one offer for an Open Booking . This offer requires a nonrefundable deposit. 

When making an Open Booking, the ship and sail date are not selected at the time of booking. However, a specific ship and sail date must be chosen within one (1) year from the date the Open Booking is created. Failure to select a ship and sail date within this timeframe will result in the expiration of the Open Booking, and the deposit will be forfeited. Enrollment in the Open Booking Program does not guarantee stateroom or sailing availability or cruise price. The "Open Booking Program" Offer will not be available to any guest who did not book while they were on board the ship; that is, this offer is not extendable to guests once they disembark. 

DEPOSIT 

All Open Bookings require the payment of a nonrefundable deposit of €/£/$ 100 (or according to the local currency table) per person on the date on which the Open Booking is created (the “Purchasing Date”). Payment of the foregoing deposit and guests’ details (full names, DOB , email & country of residence) are required for each guest at the time of booking. The deposit is not refundable at any time after it has been paid. 

CONVERSION & FURTHER PAYMENTS 

Open Bookings can be converted to a confirmed booking by selecting a ship and sail date no later than one (1) year after the Purchasing Date. The fare of the confirmed booking will automatically be determined by the qualifying offers then available in your country of residence and/or the same country of the original booking belong. If you select a ship and sail date within sixty (60) days after the Purchasing Date, you will be eligible to receive up to €/£/$ 200 onboard credit per stateroom, depending on the stateroom category and length of the cruise selected. The “Onboard Credit” offer, and it will be applied to the future cruise. If you select a ship and sail date after sixty (60) days after the Purchasing Date, you will be eligible to receive up to €/£/$100 onboard credit. 
The stateroom category as well as the occupancy selected at the time of conversion will determine if an additional deposit is required. For Suites and Yacht Club categories, additional deposits for each person must be paid at the time of converting to a specific ship and sail date. Each additional person will also be subject to an additional deposit requirement at the time of conversion. Furthermore, for conversions on Yacht Club categories, the full deposit required by the market must be paid 120 days before departure. 
Once your ship and sail date have been selected, payments on your Open Booking beyond the initial deposit required shall be due in accordance with the MSC Cruises payment schedule applicable in your country of residence and/or the same country of the original booking belong. EXPIRATION 

If an Open Booking is not converted to a specific ship and sail date within one (1) year of the Purchasing Date, it will automatically expire, and the deposit will be forfeited. Guests are not required to sail within the foregoing one-year period but must select a specific ship and sail date before the expiration of the one-year period. 

CANCELATION 

If an Open booking is cancelled prior to selection of a specific ship and sail date, the initial deposit will be forfeited. If an Open Booking was converted to a specific ship and sail date within one (1) year of the Purchasing Date and later canceled  prior to the final payment due date, the initial deposit will be forfeited and the cancelation  terms applicable to your booking (which may vary from country to country) will apply. 

CHANGES 

Open Bookings are transferable to other people prior to the selection of a specific ship and sail date. After a specific ship and sail date have been selected, changes to the ship, sail date or names of the booking, shall be due in accordance with the MSC Cruises booking Terms & Conditions applicable in your country of residence and/or the same country of the original booking belong. ADDITIONAL TERMS

 Upon selecting a ship and sail date, Open Bookings may be combined with most local offers and MSC Voyagers Club discounts. Open Booking Program  excludes certain promotions and discounted rates, including Interline, Travel Agent rates, group rates, & net rates. Open bookings can be used for sailings within 30 days of departure as a deposit, with no additional benefits granted. Single occupancy guests may receive a pro-rated onboard credit depending on the single supplement fare paid. 
• A maximum of three (3) Future Cruise Open Bookings can be made per person while on board for yourself, and/your family. Future Cruise Open Booking cannot be used for Travel Agent resale. 
• The Open Booking program may not be available in your country of residence and conversion is exclusively applicable to international cruises. Ask your Future Cruise Consultant for details. 
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice and may be withdrawn at any time. MSC Cruises reserves the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update fares, fees, and surcharges without prior notice.
